Google pays tribute to teachers & childcare workers with quirky doodle, calls them ‘constants in ever-changing world’
The animated logo shows the letter ‘e’ dressed up as a quirky professor.
On hovering the mouse over the doodle, a message, ‘to all the teachers and childcare workers, thank you’, appears on the screen.
The world may have come to a standstill due to the
Covid-19 pandemic, but the teachers and childcare workers are still doing their
bit to educate the tiny tots.
Thanks to the technology at our disposal, the
education of the young ones is continuing despite a global pandemic and the
good folks at Google, in a bid to honour the educators, came up with a vibrant
new doodle.
The colourful, animated logo of the search giant
shows the letter ‘e’ dressed up as a quirky professor, complete with round
glasses and a professor’s hat. The animated professor is standing next to a
teaching board and a table.
But, instead of
teaching a class full of students, the professor is in front of a laptop,
presumably giving online classes to the young minds, Google gave a subtle nod
to online lectures and online education facilitated by professors during the
pandemic.
On hovering the mouse
over the doodle, a message, ‘to all the teachers and childcare workers, thank
you’, appears on the screen.
Google India also sent out a tweet, thanking
teachers for being ‘our constants in an ever-changing world’.
